Parylene Coating

What is Parylene?

Parylene is the generic name for poly(Para-Xylylene) - a unique polymer series that provides thermal, moisture, and dielectric barrier to any vacuum compatible substrate.

Protection against gases, corrosion, chemical resistant

In general, Parylene coatings provide excellent protection against gases, have excellent corrosion resistance, and are resistant to a wide range of chemicals. Parylene is resistant to environmental influences and UV radiation.

Low dielectric permittivity and co-effecient

In addition, the coatings have a low dielectric permittivity and a low dielectric co-efficient.

Low Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate

Parylene coatings can be used in applications where low moisture vapor transmission rates are required and the parylene types available conform to various industrial standards (e.g. FDA Approved)

Constant Coating Thickness

Constant coating thicknesses can be achieved by implementing  controlled and repeatible coating processes.

Conformal Coating

Superior coating performance compeared to liquid coating
