The 3D plasma treater can be used to surface treat narrow widths on a high speed web for localised pre-treatment of a wide range of polymers.
This is especially useful if you require treatment on a specific part of the web prior to applying ink, coatings, or adhesives.
The plasma head can also be used to treat multiple surfaces on 3D components and can be mounted on a wide range of static and automated fixtures or holders.
The standard plasma head generates a plasma which will efficiently treat surfaces up to 40mm from the head, with a width of 40mm.
Simply mount the plasma head on the fixture, connect to the power supply provided and compressed air connection, and the system is ready to go!
Inline corona treatment
Ideal for high-speed treatment of web materials on label printing, carton board printing, and flexible packaging machines.
These Corona treatment units are equipped with highly efficient ceramic electrodes for conductive and non-conductive films.
An important feature is the quick change feature where the ceramic electrodes are mounted on a cartridge which can be easily removed for inspection and cleaning when the line is idle. This quick change cartridge design allows the ultimate flexibility for line maintenance and reduces machine downtime.
The system will use 4 to 6 electrodes depending on the machine throughput and required dyne levels.
